When you need to grab something to eat on your way out the door, whether you're headed to a hike, work, a date, meeting, road trip, or literally anything else... ideally you'd like to grab a bar that's both healthy and tasty. The healthy and tasty combination doesn't always come together in one bar, but if you search hard enough, you'll find them coexisting quite delectably and peacefully. We did the searching so you didn't have to. Read on to discover grab-and-go bars you'll savor.

1. Go MacroIf you're into baked goods that are wholesome, moist and warm, this has two out of three, not too bad, right? With creative flavor combinations like banana walnut and peanut butter chocolate chip, there's a flavor for every taste, and a texture, that plain and simple, takes the cake. Oh yeah, and if you needed another reason to try these, Ellie Goulding is a fan, and their spokeswoman.

2. Clif BarTried and true, these bars originally featured a mountain climber on the packaging and introduced flavors such as apple cinnamon, blueberry, apricot, and nearly every other fruit and nut under the sun. Now, they're getting even more creative with mini nut butter filled bars, like the one featured here, coconut almond butter flavor.

3. KIND BarAnother established brand, like Clif bar, who's innovated a bit since it's initial launch. These bars have an emphasis on nuts and chocolate, and nobody's complaining, but that doesn't keep them from innovating! The latest from KIND includes savory bars, with flavors such as mesquite barbecue, or black truffle almond. Pioneering the savory bar space, give it a try and see how you like it!

4. Perfect BarGluten-free, anyone? You're in luck! These Perfect Bars, found in the refrigerated aisle, can be swooped up and consumed without agitating any gluten-allergic folks. Just note that because of the ulta-fresh ingredients and lack of preservatives, these should be consumed not too shortly after being removed from the fridge. Maybe a hike on a cool day is the way to go, or in the cooler at the picnic.

What are you waiting for? Grab one, and go!
